Dora's Page: An often-daily photoblog to assure Connie's Mom We're Still Here

Link to First Five Years of "Dora's Page", 2019-2024

2024 May 16: Back to Basics for the Fifth Anniversary

The first Dora's Page (just scroll alllll the way to the bottom) came out five years ago yesterday. The "/dora" directory has grown to 1469 entries, over 3300 photos.

Which is a hard thing for a computer file system to manage, even today; it's getting a little awkward. So, today is the last "Dora's Page" that wil be found at this address. What will remain at top is the "Moving HERE" link for anybody who still goes to "brander.ca/dora" rather than the new "brander.ca/doraspage" directory.

This is the laziest, easy-button way to handle the growing load, and it'll work well enough. I'll ask Jim about editing the button on your desktop.

In another five years, when you've just turned 97, we'll probably have to do it again!

Back to basics, today: photos of Stanley Park, now that I'm walking and running in it again. The sun provided a perfect highlight to this bush behind the Aquarium:

And this is the first time I can recall seeing anybody actually go wading out into Beaver "Lake" (swamp) - man, is it ever shallow these days.

This is the first entry in the new "Dora's Page" directory, after the five-year anniversary. Earlier entries are HERE.
