300dpi scans from the page scanned as 006, of "Granny", and of "Granny" and
Ethel looking at each other through the house window.
A good place for a comment on this visit. Ethel was clearly visiting her
father's parents, identified in Wikipedia as Henry Conybeare, famed (somewhat)
engineer of bridges and buildings in England, and re-designer of Mumbai's
water system, son of the more-famous geologist William Daniel Conybeare.
"Granny" would be Anne Newport Moore, widowed for nearly 20 years at this
point. I found it odd that Ethel refers to "her husband" instead of
"my grandfather", and there seem to have been little tale-telling about him.
This would have been the first time Anne Moore Conybeare had seen two
granddaughters, the episode seems lacking in family warmth. Victorian?
