Finishing up the "Back Walk" south of Lost Lagoon.

Today, three pictures, to complete the tour of the pathway that has a short loop through some bushes and trees south of Lost Lagoon. Many years back, a then-controversial program planted a rich floral garden there, and you divert off the paved bike path around the Lagoon to tour it - some people actually miss it.

These three pictures are all taken from within a few paces of each other, looking east, and west along the walk.

I can't tell you what any of these plants are, only that the cumulative effect at this time of year, both the sight and the sheer smell of them, is overwhelming.

Really, today, I should do more than stroll through and take a few pictures. One should bring a book and an apple and spend some time, let it soak in.
