These next two are a little funny. We were not sure if the Christmas Tree leaning over on the fountain its installed with was an accident that would soon be taken down, or somehow an art statement. The tree does look as if it has fainted into the arms of the fountain's artwork.
The lovely (and still busy) downtown church is in the background. This is the little plaza of an office building that runs a waterfall all winter, when I first realized Vancouver really had a different winter. I made sure the palm tree, yes, living palm tree, is in the foreground. When you grow palm trees outdoors, putting up a Christmas display like this really takes some balls.
