Scotch Oat Cakes

2 cups oatmeal
1.5 cups flour
0.5 cups sugar
...mix together then cut in 1/3 cup shortening or butter

Add 1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1/2 cup boiling water

Stir together then roll til 1/4 inch thick.

Cut into 6" diam. circles, then divide those into quarters.

Bake at 325F for 12 minutes.
