2024 August 16: More Ravine Trail

Dora's Page has to do Ravine Trail at least once per year, surely - my favourite bit of the park by far. Just a few hundred metres long, but almost entirely roofed over by huge trees - it suffered some painful losses in the tree cutting, but is still a haven. This low-light shot gives you a feel of the woods, lovely, dark, and deep.

The exit from the trail to the seawall is under a stone-block, hand-built over pass I love the most. Looking out from it to the bright sunshine is like being in a basement room, bursting out into the yard. I liked this shot catching the paddleboat, the tugboat, the bike, and the sulfur, all in one frame.
