Aug 23, 2019 - A Run in Stanley Park

Here's some construction going on along the seawall. They aren't making a walkway down there, just shoring up the foundation (literally "shoring"; this is the shore!). They can only do the work at low tide when the concrete is exposed!

From there, I ran 22 stories up a very steep hill (what I do now that I can't run those dreaded stairs) to Prominence Point. Despite dull lighting from the sky, the flower beds up there are outstanding, with these near-tree-like grey plants that go up a metre in the air.

This is especially impressive when you look at this years-back picture of the same flower beds in the spring. Every year, they start from absolute zero.
