2019 Sept 14 - Garbage in the Park

About 100m westward up Tatlow Trail from the Bridle Path, there's a mossy stump beside an opening in the forest wall, where a bit of a path goes into a small clear area:

Below, the garbage seen from inside the clearing - at back, a pile of liquor and beer bottles, some dollars' worth in refunds. The odder one is in the foreground, a blue plastic suitcase - for a bit I thought some camper had kept his tent setup in a hiding spot; but a careful poke at it indicated it was empty except for one sodden jacket on top. At far left and back, the "noteworthy stump", for location reference.

I'd clean it up myself, but figured Vancouver Parks would like to keep track of this problem. Over three years ago, I was going to join up with a guy trying to start a group to regularly clean up the park, but retreated when his emails became very cranky and irritated, he said by the non-cooperation and indifference of Parks staff. Rather than wind up like him, I figured I'd always just contact them and leave it.
