Mind you, by Canadian standards every neighbourhood in Madrid is a busy bar/restaurant district, but that church is in the middle of the heart of downtown, where crowds pack the streets around for blocks even on weeknights.
But the picture on the right, I really love. Anybody who knows almost anything about Canada and Vancouver can locate it precisely in the world, as easily as a photograph of the pyramids of Egypt.
It's not just the Canadian flags, but the "Roots" store they are hanging from; the Hotel Vancouver is a unique building, and you can even locate the camera down to the metre from the Burrard and Robson street signs. It was my "I'm Home" shot.
