2020 March 21 - First Day of Spring: In Praise of Little Flowers

I've had to reconstruct a day or so of Dora's Page, I had some screwups yesterday. You may not have seen the intended page of "Life Adapts" with us computer-teaching the Barrett kids, and the grocery store lineup. Then there was the page with the open restaurants the day before that.

Today, the first day of spring, lets take a break from obsessing over COVID-19 statistics and altered lives. Let's appreciate the flowers that nobody takes pictures of: the carpets of little daisies that decorate areas of lawn.

It requires a real closeup to really see these tiny flowers, so lets make the effort. This did take some minutes of messing about to get them in focus with my little camera.

I've been holding back a bit on flower photography; I've got one or two saved up because I wanted to really show them off in the Spring. Starting tomorrow, we'll be having a look at some amazing early blooms. Stay tuned!
